    “Loved our stay here lovely cottage really well equipped through out the cottage nice size dining room sitting room nice and cosy and spacious.”


    Through out the cottage is immaculate and really well decorated loved all the little personal touches throughout Decent sized bedrooms In the Kitchen we loved the Aga and cooked our toast on their every morning cooked very fast !! The property is well located for exploring the lakes within 30 minutes from Windermere which we ate at every night ,other lakes of similar distance all within easy reach . Will definitely use again Thanks to the owners for a lovely stay you have a lovely property

A homely holiday cottage overlooking the beauty of Morecambe Bay, Low Sea View makes a wonderful choice for your family escape to the village of Allithwaite.

In easy reach of a varied selection of coastal and countryside attractions, this semi-detached cottage is ideally placed for every type of adventurer to enjoy Cumbria.

Prepare a delicious homemade meal upon arrival to prepare you for your day of exploration, the AGA and oven both offering a helping hand, with a good range of appliances and utensils to assist, here you can spend a moment to yourself at the central table, before stepping into the dining room to enjoy a family meal amidst the warmth of the woodburning stove.

Carry your conversations through to the beautifully decorated sitting room, also boasting a woodburning stove, there's no better room to unwind each evening.

At the end of each fun-filled day, move up to the first floor to discover the three sleeping spots, made up of a king-size bedroom with its own television, a twin bedroom doubling up as a super-king-size on request and a superb single bedroom, you can find a snug spot for each member of the family, with plenty of space to house all your belongings too.

The family bathroom can be found resting on the first floor too, while a convenient cloakroom rests on the ground floor.

Spend your mornings together out in the enclosed patio at the rear of the property, a lovely spot to enjoy a hearty breakfast, with a laundry room also being found here too with both a washing machine and tumble dryer!

Spend a day exploring the local village of Allithwaite, described as being "set like a jewel in a cloak of green", there is so much natural splendour to explore here.

Nearby, Cartmel is well-worth a visit, renowned as being the prettiest within the Lake District, here you can find a wider selection of amenities settled along its historic, cobbled streets, as well as being home to a famous priory and its own racecourse!

Grange-over-Sands offers an idyllic day out at any time of the year, an Edwardian seaside resort, it boasts a beautiful promenade, beautiful gardens worth roaming, golfing opportunities and a convenient train station letting you explore the wider area of Cumbira.

A trip into the Lake District National Park is a must while in the area, the largest National Park in the whole of England and holding status as a World Heritage Site, here you can attempt to tackle the summit of Scafell Pike, or enjoy a simple stroll along its deepest lake, Wastwater, with plenty of opportunities for walking, cycling, horseback riding, watersports and so much more.
