    “This is really only being extremely picky as we loved the Property and the location.”


    One thing we found missing, due to cooking our own meals there was no potato/vegetable peeler. Unable to control the towel radiator in the Bathroom it seemed to come on for a short preset daytime period. Also in the description I do not remember if it explained that the 10/15 minute walk to Ambleside is very steep, plus only disc parking allowed on streets, no disc available to use at the property. There are pay car parks but an inconvienience if only wanting single item like a Loaf of Bread etc and street spaces were available.

Lying at the northern tip of Lake Windermere, England’s largest lake, Ambleside makes a superb base for touring the central Lakes, with Grasmere and the Langdale Valley just a short drive away.
