The property

Honeysuckle Cottage is a classic stone-built cottage in Bowness-On-Windermere, Cumbria, just a stone's throw away from Lake Windermere.

The cottage is close to services and local attractions, with walking, watersports, and stunning views to enjoy, and a fantastic site for families, couples, or friends to explore the Lake District National Park.

The house is well-equipped with a traditional kitchen and contemporary facilities, making it ideal for casual meals served at the dining area's table for four.

The sitting area has been lovingly furnished with a cushioned sofa, two armchairs, and an electric fire for added ambience, perfect for relaxing with a good book or in front of the TV.

After the day's travels, you can wash your walking gear in the external utility.

The beautifully appointed bathroom upstairs features a bath with a shower over, as well as a heated towel rail.

Choose from two light and airy bedrooms, one double with a feature fireplace and dressing table, and a twin with a TV and storage space.

Start your days with a fresh cup of coffee on the front patio's bench, while the multi-level, rear garden is a private oasis for dining al fresco, enjoying a cold beverage, and escaping the hustle and bustle.

Bowness-on-Windermere is a lively town with plenty of things to do to keep visitors occupied.

For followers of the famed author, the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction is a must-see, while the National Trust - Wray Castle and Hill Top provide a taste of history.

Treetop Lake District - Treetop Trek and Treetop Nets give a chance to get up close and personal with the magnificent Lake Windermere for those wishing for a more adrenaline-filled experience.

Windermere has a number of outstanding restaurants and bars, including The Ship Inn and Porto Restaurant, in addition to its many attractions.

There's something for everyone in this popular location, with sailing and watersports available at Lake Windermere and Coniston Water.

Ambleside, with its Roman Fort, Ambleside Climbing Wall, and Stock Ghyll Force located in magnificent woodland, is a little further away.
