    • “Arrived on a cold, dark night to a very welcoming cheery cottage with lights and heating on. Very cosy but spacious, lovely decor, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and everything we needed for our long weekend. Bowness Centre just minutes away. Would recommend this beautiful cottage. We will definately be back.”

    • “just returned from a long weekend which we shared with friends, plenty of room for 2 couples. Beautifully decorated with everything you need and everything in a new condition. Ideally situated, just a short walk from the lake, bars and restaurants, bus stop at the end of the terrace to take you to Windermere, Ambleside, and Grasmere, Had a great time, will definitely book again.”

    • “Perfect home away from home in the Lakes!”
    • tripadvisor rating
    • “My partner and I have stayed in this cottage twice now, once in March 2016 and March 2017 and have loved both stays. The cottage is perfectly located, just a short walk from Windermere Lake and Windermere Village, it is right in the centre of Bowness. There are lots of lovely restaurants and takeaways on the doorstep. There are also a few small supermarkets to buy food etc. The cottage is nicely presented and extremely clean, and even though it is in the middle of the village, it is very quiet. The kitchen is well equipped, with everything you would need to cook your own meals. The log fire in the living room is our favourite bit! It really does feel like a home away from home. I would highly recommend this cottage for families and couples. We will definitely be back!”

The cottage was well presented and in an excellent location. The master bed is the most comfortable I have ever slept in. I would recommend this cottage and will definitely be booking again.”
