A quaint, mid-terrace cottage positioned riverside to the River Eea in the Lakeland village of Cark in Cartmel, just two miles from the attractive village of Cartmel and eight miles from Lake Windermere.
Lavender Cottage is an excellent base for a small family looking for a relaxing break with great opportunities to explore the Lake District.
Offering a cosy interior, the comfortable sitting room features two spacious sofas and a charming window bay seat, providing picturesque views across the river and beyond, whilst the well-equipped kitchen benefits from integrated appliances and a dining table for four.
Adjoining the kitchen is the sun room, offering a quieter spot to enjoy a good book or to simply reflect upon the day.
There are two bedrooms here; a king-size double and a twin room, which is accessed through the double.
Outside is a small patio space with furniture, proving an opportunity for some alfresco dining.
Additionally, the patio is fully enclosed, making it ideal for parties with a dog.
From the cottage you can enjoy a beautiful walk alongside the River Eea, filled with wildlife and pretty scenery.
The unspoilt village of Cark in Cartmel provides a local shop and pub, both of which are only a short walk from the cottage, as well as the stunning grounds of Holker Hall, formerly a home to Lord Cavendish.
Cartmel is only a short drive away and is where you can find a handful of excellent pubs and restaurants, including the L’Enclume Michelin-starred restaurant, several independent boutiques and antique shops as well as a beautiful Priory with a small shop.
The delights of the Lake District aren't far either, with Lake Windermere less than 15 minutes away, it’s ideal for a day out.
Lavender Cottage is a welcoming home to be enjoyed throughout the year.
