    Bathroom a little bit on the small side but still lovely. Location ideal. We paid £35 for weeks parking on the race course which is just a two minute walk away. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

The property

This tastefully decorated ground floor apartment sits on a picturesque street in the village of Cartmel, 12 miles from Bowness-on-Windermere.

The seaside village of Grange-over-Sands is only two miles away, alongside the beautiful Morecambe Bay.

Further afield you can find the treasures of the Lake District National Park - enjoy a cruise on the steamer up the lake where you can stop off and see the delights of Bowness and Ambleside.
