    “Some time ago there must have been some money spent on Bluebird Loft.”

    However ongoing maintenance seems to have been let go. Several light bulbs were out, could not see out of kitchen windows (dirty), grouting along tap end of shower was crumbling, the front door to flat would not stay shut without being locked. The internal door handles creaked and made noise, they would also not stay shut and kept opening... Lamp in bathroom above sink is rusty. When anyone sat on toilet the floorboards creak (warped floorboards or broken joists ?) Fridge door storage broken ...

Would I stay in Coniston again, YES Would I stay In Bluebird Loft again, NO

There is a small dining area with seating for up to two people. The kitchen has a modern layout and high-quality fixtures and fittings. With an attractive green tiling to give the room a homely feel, this kitchen has all the appliances you could possibly need. The property has one king-size bedroom with an en-suite bath and shower room. The bedroom has a lovely pastel green decor, with a selection of contemporary furniture, including bedside lamps, ideal for some late night reading. With stunning views across the gardens and countryside. Outside there is roadside parking near the property. The nearby village of Hawkshead is known for its lovely cobbled lanes, best explored by foot. With many shops, pubs and cafés nearby to fill your appetite. Venture towards Brockhole Lake District Visitors' Centre which has outdoor and indoor facilities with a 30-acre site of shoreline, woodland and meadow to explore. You can even hire someone for a guided tour if you really want to get to know the area. The Ruskin Museum features an exhibition about Sir Donald Campbell, who was killed in 1967 while making an attempt on the world speed record in his speedboat Bluebird, it makes for a wonderful historical sight and coincides with this amply named apartment. Bluebird Loft is ideal for a short break or cosy holiday.
