    • “Lovely cottage in a great location in the centre of Coniston. Easy access to shops, pubs and restaurants on foot. Easy access to all locations in the Lake District by car.”

    Ms Barber, Malmesbury, October 2018

    • “This cottage is in a prime location for us oldies visiting Coniston. Very comfortable and cosy with everything needed. The only drawback to prevent us giving the facilities top marks is that there is only one toilet inside the one bathroom. A downstairs toilet, just a small one would be ideal so that for five people there would be two loos. Other than this the cottage is ideal. The village is traditional and mostly unspoilt, unlike the larger towns in the Lake District. Its a great place for walking for all abilities and ages. The owner of the cottage is just across the road should there be any problems - we didn't need to contact her - but we had a warm welcome when we collected the keys. We have stayed here three times now and will, most probably, be back again soon.”

    Mrs Burditt, Newark, September 2018

    • “ in excellent location in the village. Property very homely.”

    Mr Dean, Pudsey, September 2018

    • “everything about this cottage is what we have wished for and has exceeded our expectations and we are really looking forward to our next holiday in November”

    Mrs Horton, Pickering, September 2018

    • “This is a fantastic cottage right in the heart of coniston, very comfortable with all amenities,!I would certainly recommend this property & would definitely use again”

    Mr Thornton, Blackpool, August 2018

    • “Great location.”

    Mr Flynn, Altrincham, July 2018

    • “Lovely cottage in an excellent location.”

    Mr Robinson, Halesowen, July 2018

    • “A wonderful location and all mod cons EXCEPT the lack of WiFi. The provision of WiFi is such a help when on holiday to aid with planning activities, checking opening times, locating restaurants and looking at timetables for boats etc.... It would also have been nice if there had been some books about local walks bearing in mind that the cottage is in one of the best walking areas of England. The information folder provided contained only two local attraction leaflets which is unusual for a holiday cottage. However the overall impression is of a lovely cottage and we would definitely book it again. It was lovely to be able to walk from the cottage to the Lake, up to The Old Man of Coniston and to Tarn Hows without needing to drive.”

    Mr Bailey, Worthing, June 2018

    • “The cottage was clean and comfortable, and in an excellent location right in the heart of Coniston. It was also nice to have some of the little things already there like washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, salt & pepper etc, so you didn't have to go shopping straightaway just to wash up the cups after a cuppa!”

    Mr Webster, Dunstable, March 2018

    • “Lovely well equipped and comfortable cottage in a great location in the centre of Coniston. Easy access to the shops and pubs and for walks around Coniston.”

    Ms Barber, Malmesbury, September 2017

    • “Bridge End Cottage is very cosy and welcoming and an excellent base for exploring the Lakes.”

    Dr Whittaker, Ottawa, May 2017

    • “Central location of cottage ideal for eating out at night.”

Mrs Davis, Leamington Spa, April 2017

    • “Excellent accommodation in ideal location close to shops and pubs/restaurants.”

    Mr Hill, Pudsey, March 2017
