  • “A lovely clean and comfortable cottage to stay in for our visit to the beautiful Lake District.”

Location was perfect being right in the centre of Windermere.

Location was perfect being right in the centre of Windermere. All needs were catered for in the cottage and plenty of lovely walks nearby if you are bringing dogs with you. Thank you to the owners and Sykes cottages for all your efforts in making sure are stay was memorable .

Nestled in the thriving town of Windermere, Cumbria, is this slate stone cottage dating back to the 1870's.

Full of character, internally, the property features a cosy sitting room as you walk through the door.

Let's not forget the handy utility area which offers private laundry facilities.

Upstairs has two bedrooms: two king-size doubles with en-suite shower rooms.

To the rear of the property, you will find an enclosed patio garden, with a table and chairs.

Local attractions include the National Trust Wray Castle, a Victorian neo-Gothic castle dating back to the 19th century.

Featuring a family-friendly interior, with play rooms and is beside the large Lake Windermere, boasting stunning views.
