“Kitchen equipment was poor, very basic, items incomplete, saucepan handles loose, no non stick pan, I had to buy one.”

An unbelievable amount of glasses but no cupboard or drawer space for food. Fridge and freezer were not the temperature they should have been even on the highest setting. The jacuzzi had to be vacated because it made the occupants have breathing issues and had a terrible smell, this had to be sorted. I contacted you on the Saturday, you said the owner would be out to fix it out no one came until Monday. Parking outside the property was fraught as COTTAGES.COM used the street as their own ...

Parking outside the property was fraught as COTTAGES.COM used the street as their own business carpark, parking not only company vehicles but privately owned vehicles every day. They left a company car permanently parked outside our property. The heating was supposed to come on at set times but it went off at 10am and we had to boost regularly to get it to come on later in the day. The jacuzzi maintenance arrived at the property on the morning we were leaving at approx 8.45am, filling the yard access to the gate with multiple obstructing pipes and hoses which meant we had to clamber over these to remove the rubbish bins from the property. The TV in the living room kept freezing and the Remote control was extremely ineffective. The bottom bed sheets on each bed were not the extra deep kind required so the corners just kept rolling off and had to be remade every day, the mattresses were very heavy and made the task even more cumbersome. There were no logs supplied despite it saying so in the listing. Pool playing was difficult in the space provided and the rooms did not contain enough seating for the whole party to sit together. Lovely house, clean, WiFi great, tv in games room awesome, location great except for parking issues, but poorly equipped kitchen and details listed above mean that for me it's not worth the premium price paid.
