    “Would have got 5 stars.”

But no microwave, only 2 ring hob for a sleeps 8 property. No DVD/ Blueray player as listed and no instructions to operate cinema surround sound in cinema room. Also could benefit from some sun loungers. But fantastic property and views over Windermere fantastic.

The property

Set in the heart of the Lake District a few miles south of the village of Bowness-on-Windermere, benefiting from its own private shoreline of Lake Windermere you will find this incredible architectural structure, Lakeside at Louper Weir.

Impress your family with this brilliant choice of accommodation for indulging in a bit of luxury with a property that boasts an en-suite bathroom for each bedroom, with the master featuring a wrap-around balcony.

When you have passed through the electric gates and parked up in the ample space, walk into the property and through to the kitchen and dining space, where you will love spending the evenings cooking, drinking wine and talking over the dinner table about old times and new with your closest friends or family.

Retire to the stylish sitting room to appreciate the cinema style TV with surround sound system, relaxing into the sky blue leather sofas.

For a quiet hour reading the papers you won't find a better place than the snug, with a leather sofa and a Smart TV, catch up on the news or enjoy your favourite show in peace.

When it's time to rest your head you have four gorgeous bedrooms to choose from, all super-king rooms; two with en-suite shower rooms, and two with en-suite bathrooms featuring free-standing baths, with the master bedroom featuring a private balcony wrapping around the corner of the property looking out to the idyllic waters below.

Enjoy alfresco dining on the large covered outdoor dining area, open up the bi-fold floor-to-ceiling patio doors in summer when everyone is in and out, then take a dip in the hot tub with a cold drink in hand.

Flanked by ancient woodland where the owners have created a haven for wildlife and kept landscaping to a minimum, the garden sweeps down to the lakeshore benefiting from its own private jetty mooring (launching available in nearby Bowness-on-Windermere).

Hire a row boat in Bowness-on-Windermere and see the beauty of the shores from the water, or use the Lake Cruises to visit neighbouring Ambleside and Lakeside.

Explore the outstanding countryside in this incredible National Park and test your limits with some hill climbs, or take it easy with a nice amble around the lake.

Lakeside at Louper Weir is a magnificent property which you won't forget in a hurry.

Please be aware that there are some building works being carried out next door to Louper Weir. The owner has therefore reflected this in their advertised rates for any disruption caused.
