    • “Ideally placed, cosy cottage”
    • tripadvisor rating
    • “Beck Steps 1 is a well equipped cottage in the centre of Grasmere, an ideal place for a couple to stay. It has a warm and cosy atmosphere and provided everything we needed. The only very, very minor disappointment was that there was no matches/firelighters on arrival, so we couldn't make a fire and no dishwasher tablets, so we didn't use the dishwasher. Otherwise this would have been an absolute perfect stay, but we will be back......fabulous.”

    Gary G, October 2017

    • “A really well presented cottage with everything we needed for a relaxing weeks holiday. Comfortable bed, huge shower and bath, well equipped kitchen and comfortable sofa. A pleasant suprise was the little takeaway next door doing good coffee and great homemade pastries!”

James W, Newbury, United Kingdom, September 2017

    • “Perfect cottage in a great spot in the heart of the village which is exactly what we wanted. It meant we could park the car & leave it while we did all the popular walks. The facilities in the cottage were great and the WiFi worked a treat which was one of our needs. Worth noting that the property did have a washing machine despite an agent from Sykes telling us it didn’t, a real bonus! We plan to come back in the future!”

    Mr Ford, Westbury, August 2018

    • “The cottage is clean, cosy and comfortable, it is in a wonderful spot for exploring the Lakes. Plenty of eating places close by, gorgeous breakfast in Greens Cafe just a few doors away! Would recommend this place to everyone. Thank you for a lovely break away.”

    Mr Fletcher, Middlesbrough, April 2018
