  • “We arrived at the cottage and everything was set to make us really welcome, including a home made cake set on a stand, milk in the fridge and biscuits so we were able to kick back and have tea before sorting ourselves out.”

Everything was clean and tidy with no shortage of anything. I would highly recommend this cottage and should I return to the Lake District I would certainly try and book this cottage again.

The village itself is surrounded by open fields, supporting cattle, sheep and horses. The nearby market town of Penrith offers a good selection of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, a cinema and swimming baths. Why not visit the Rheged Discovery Centre in Penrith, or nearby Lowther Castle Gardens and Bird of Prey Centre?
