Reviews

    • “Fabulous bolt hole in the lakes. Perfect start for walks. Property cosy and beautifully equipped”

    Mrs Hansen, December 2018

    • “It was in the perfect location. The place was cosy and had everything we needed. Parking was good. We wish we had booked a few more days. I would definitely follow the directions from the email as we used the postcode and ended up getting the car stuck down a dirt track. Grasmere is literally down a road and the walks around the place are lovely. Thank you for having us.”

    Mr Phillips, October 2018

    • “Cottage was a delight ,well equipped and comfortable”

    Mr Campbell, Poole, June 2018

    • “This is a lovely cosy property in an ideal location, for us. Easy access to various walks. Cannot fault in any way. Nice to be able to use associated grounds with views overlooking the Lake & distant fells. Would definitely return.”

    Mrs Lacey, Dereham, May 2018

    • “The location of the cottage with direct access to both lakeside and mountain walks was a bonus. Spacious accommodation with parking right outside. Well equipped and we will certainly stay there again”

    Mrs Haynes, PETERBOROUGH, May 2018

    • “Excellent directions to property. Clear instructions in house about how to use appliances/heating. Good facilities - had everything we needed. Lovely location within easy walking distance of the village.”

    Ms Griffiths, London, April 2018

    • “Personal touches by owner were very much appreciated during this Christmas stay, and it was nice to see this level of attention to detail. It really added to the magic of our first Christmas in the Lakes.”

    Mr Waud, Tadcaster, December 2017

    • “This was a small but very comfortable apartment in a beautiful location. It was a little difficult to find, but due to horrendous traffic problems on the M6 we didn't arrive until midnight. There are, however, great walks right from the garden gate and it's possible to walk into Grasmere itself. At the bottom of the hill on which the apartment is sited is Dove Cottage which was the home of poet William Wordsworth.”

    Mr Knowles, London, September 2017

    • “An absolutely wonderful apartment. Spotless, well equipped and very comfortable. All the little touches of home comfort made it a really lovely place to stay. Home from home.”

    Mrs Buckwell, LONDON, July 2017

    • “Disappointed that there was no recycling facilities- not in cottage and none close by.”

Ms Steaton, Kingston Upon Thames, June 2017

    • “Lovely location. Had all facilities we needed. Fortunate to have met the owner.”

Mr Hipkiss, Melton Mowbray, June 2017

    • “From the village it's a steep walk up to the property, the views from the terrace make up for that.”

    Mr Bates, Ayr, March 2017
