    • “Fantastic property, heating abismal!”

    • “Very well turned out property, with a well appointed kitchen suitable for self catering. Views are stunning!! However this property should NOT be rented from November to April, due to the heating entirely inadiquit. It is preset to 19 degree mornings and evenings and 12 degrees the rest of the day (which it doesn't even click on during the day as it's standard set temp is so low). The rooms are large in height and single glazed, although there is a fan fire in the lounge which can heat the room comfortable, the kitchen and other bedrooms are very cold! So much so that we had to purchase a fan heater to purely heat the dining room/kitchen areas during mornings and evenings. The hoover we have used quite a few times in our stay, but it smells terribly on usage and needs cleaned out and washed which isn't for us to do.”

Jacqueline D, Edinburgh, United Kingdom, March 2017

    • “This place is amazing, outstanding views and everything you need in a holiday home. Easy walk to Grassmere and bus route! ( with a hill included) set in beautiful grounds with visiting deer. The apartment exceeded our expectations, absoloutly stunning very high class with everything you need and more!”

    Mrs Kinsella, HEMINGBROUGH, June 2018

    • “What a wonderful week we just had at White Moss. The setting just above Grasmere with views across the lake was perfect. The weather was amazing so lots of walking and swimming in Grasmere and Rydal Water. The property was lovely and had everything we needed. We are already planning our next trip.”

    Ms Calvin-thomas, Stockport, May 2018

    • “When I contacted the office they dealt with my queries effectively.”

    Mr England, Truro, April 2018

    • “Fantastic apartment. Lovely views over grasmere. Very comfortable and well equipped. Would definitely stay again”

    Mrs Doherty, Liverpool, February 2018

    • “I loved it here a truly magical place! Was on my own for two days and still loved it. Only fault I’d say is a little cold in the afternoon and shower was not great but everything else amazing! I will return xxxx”

    Ms Verity, Tamworth, November 2017

    • “This cottage is lovely..far exceeded our expectations. Fully equipped with everything you could want. Grounds are beautiful. Definitely worth a visit”

    Mr Biernacki, Exmouth, November 2017

    • “We loved it - excellent location and very comfortable. Two minor points - we needed champagne glasses and also loo roll!”

    Mrs Rice-birchall, Ilkley, May 2017

    • “The apartment and surrounding area was beautiful and the views were stunning. The apartment is well equipped with everything a family and their dog needed. Didn't want to leave as it felt very homely. Great place to stay.”

    Mrs Collar, Swindon, May 2017

    • “The cottage was excellent, clean, spacious and warm. The location was good, just 15 minute walk to Grasmere village. It was all on the one level which was perfect for our group of mixed ages. I will certainly be booking again”

    Mr Floy, Liverpool, January 2017

    • “The flat was clean and the beds were comfortable. I think the pictures of the outside area are very misleading. The approach to the White Moss door is very scruffy and quite dirty and there is no easy access to the terrace at the front - no useable outdoor space to enjoy the georgeous view. You can climb out of the sitting room window but obviously that was not satisfactory. Noisy neighbours started at 6:30 am, the insulation is poor. Even at this time of year the storage radiators were barely adequate. We arrived back from a hard day on the fells cold and wet and didn’t really warm up until we went to a warm pub! Some strange omissions - only one toilet roll for 5 people!! and no hand soap in the bathroom. There is nothing drastically wrong but in general as we have spent many weeks and week end in the lakes it was disappointing and not good value for money compared with any other place we have hired. Adequate but not much attention to detail.”

    Ms Taylor, Colyton, June 2018
