“The overall look of the lodge is very dated & needs updating, the toaster blew the electric & we had to go out side under the lodge to put it back on, the beds need replacing as not comfortable,, some of the cups had chips in them, they were plenty of pots & pans, the dining table chairs are very squeaky, the mat at the patio doors need replacing as it’s disgusting.”

We have stayed at white cross bay over 20 times & the other lodges were a lot nicer than this lodge. The overall holiday was lovely as the views of the lake, which is a few minutes walk are stunning, the pool is ok a bit pricey as the price that was sent to us was completely different when we booked.

We are sorry to hear the lodge was to to your taste. Over the winter we have replaced the decking, refreshed the paint work, grouted the bathrooms and replaced all the mattresses, therefore can only assume personal taste came onto play as not had comments about being dated before. Sykes will be retaking photos at the end of April. We take on board the comments about the mat, now replaced with a more robust rubber mat. The toaster and cups will all to be replaced this week. Parkdean update their charges for use of site facilities annually. This is not in our control, however we will make sure this years costs are updated in the property details. Glad you enjoy Wxb and hope you enjoy many more visits to the site and are sorry our lodge was not to your taste. Property Owner
