    • “a bit dated but very clean comfortable and loved the site plenty to do and not far from bowness or ambleside”

    Mrs Sharp, Oldham, December 2018

    • “The cottage was quaint and nice and comfortable for 4 adults and an 8 year old. Lots of board games available to keep the children busy and close to Bowness for a cruise down the lake to Ambleside. Will surely be visiting again.”

    Mrs Alves, London, November 2018

    • “The very comfortable, clean & homely accomodation. The beautiful scenery & fabulous dry weather that we were blessed with.”

    Mrs Atkins, Havant, October 2018

    • “The walks and the quality of food served in the restaurant was very good.”

Mrs East, Stoke On Trent, October 2018

    • “The lodge and the location were excellent. I have three points to make though. The third bedroom is not suitable for an adult, this should be made clear. The facilities on the site to use the pool and spa is on a 45 minute prebooking session. This should be made clear and i also think 45 minutes is not long enough to relax, swim and spa. The stones outside the lodges, for parking, damage the dogs paws. Our dog couldn't walk properly and had to go to the vets. My mother had to stay in with the dog most of the holiday. We found that other dogs had the same problem.”

    Miss Carter, Beds, June 2018

    • “The lodge was in a great location and had good facilities but it was a little bit dated.”

    Mr Jackson, Birmingham, July 2017

    • “We have been to the same lodge 3 years running and have found it to be like a home from home. My 2 girls enjoy going there and we use it as a base to visit many of the attractions that surround the Lake District. The lodge is clean and very welcoming and has ample parking space. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.”

    Agnew, Hamilton, July 2017

    • “lovely clean accommodation. well equipped, good base to explore the lakes,”

    Mr Davey, Colchester, June 2017
