Make use of the on-site facilities including an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and gym, as well as a restaurant with takeaway service.

The kids can explore the play area and games area, which is perfect for football or basket ball.

And after a lovely woodland walk, stop off at the bar for a refreshing drink.

The marina and lake are also wonderful spots for a stroll, where you can feed the ducks or enjoy a picnic.

Brockhole Visitor Centre and Gardens, along with the Windermere Lake Cruises, are among some of the attractions worth doing.

Ambleside is close by, as is, Grasmere and Hawkshead, each offering something slightly different, surrounded by the natural beauty of the lakes.
