The property

Nook Cottage is a wonderful, detached property situated within the wonderful Lake District National Park, in between Lake Windermere and the market town of Kendal.

This characterful cottage dates back to 1629 and offers a warm and welcoming base for you and your loved ones to return to each evening.

After an action-packed day of exploring the great outdoors, retreat into the sitting room, where a woodburning stove is much welcomed during the winter months, creating a cosy space to flick on the Smart TV and unwind.

Delight in a spot of home-cooking within the country-style kitchen, containing everything you will need for a self-catering holiday, as well as a dishwasher and a washing machine for convenience.

Once dinner is ready, head into the dining room, light up the woodburning stove perfect for spending some quality time with your loved ones as you tuck in, and plan the next day’s adventure.

As the evening draws to a close, climb the staircase to retire to one of the two bedrooms, containing king-size beds, storage and pretty views to admire as you wake up.

Alternatively, visit the nearby attractions of Levens Hall manor house and Lakeland Maze Farm Park, both offering wonderful family days out.

For those feeling adventurous, head to Lake Windermere for some watersport or enjoy one of the many hiking routes within the National Park, including Scafell Pike, England’s highest mountain.
