This large attached Cottage is tucked away down a 400m lane on the outskirts of Troutbeck Bridge, just a mile away from Windermere Village.  Refurbished to a very high standard in a contemporary style the house is ideal for a family or group looking for a quiet away from it all holiday, within easy reach of the honeypots of Windermere and Ambleside. To the left of the entrance hallway you enter a large Sitting Room with big comfy sofas an a log burner for cosy winter evenings.  This leads through to the superb, spacious dining kitchen with utility off with downstairs shower room, with hand basin and w.c.   Doors lead to the garden.  To the right of the entrance hallway there is a second sitting room with leather L shaped sofa and sofa bed.   Upstairs,  the Master double bedroom has countryside views and an en-suite shower room with basin and w.c..  There is also a King Size Double Room and a Twin Room.  Family bathroom with shower over bath, hand basin and W.C. To the front of the House there is a large parking area with ample parking for two cars.  The rear garden is surrounded by woodland where you can often spot visiting Roe deer.  There is a patio terrace with illuminated steps to the lawn area.

Garden furniture and Barbecue. Take a stroll into Troutbeck Bridge for the pub, shop and leisure centre.  Windermere and Bowness are just a short driveaway with a large selection of Pubs, Restaurants and Shops.  Visit the Beatrix Potter centre or hop on aLakes Cruiser to explore England’s biggest Lake.  Head up to Troutbeck for a couple of excellent pubs and spectacular mountain views.  Hop on the 555 bus to Ambleside and Grasmere, jump off at Rydal for a lovely walk to Loughrigg and the caves. An excellently presented cottage in a tranquil setting, yet with easy access to all the attractions of the Lake District National Park.

The small Lakeland village of Troutbeck can be found between its more famous neighbours Windermere and Ambleside, close by the Kirkstone Pass. A mixture of houses, cottages and farms, the village is scattered along a narrow lane bordered by a drystone wall. Many of these buildings date back to the 17th Century with features such as mullioned windows and heavy cylindrical chimneys and the northern end boasts its own 17th century inn. Close by, the bustling towns of Windermere and Ambleside are popular with visitors, providing a range of amenities to suit all tastes. Lake Windermere offers boat trips, including the lakeside ferry to the Lakeside Aquarium and Grizedale Forest Park. The ‘Windermere Steamboat Museum’ displays a fascinating collection of boats whilst children will enjoy the ‘World of Beatrix Potter’ in Bowness, where technology brings her characters to life.
