    • “Stayed a week in August 2015.if your looking for first class accomodation look no further.comfy beds, first class kitchen with everything you could wish for.The added bonus of on street parking permit plus your own space at the rear. Its over three floors, not a problem for us ,but maybe if you struggle with stairs. The bedrooms are plenty big enough, with loads of storage space. This is one one the best ive stayed at.Windermere with all its shops are at the end of the road.Cant fault it......get it booked...”

    • “Everything looked exactly like it did in the photos! The cottage was clean, neat and tidy and there was all the kitchen equipment you would use at home. Towels weren't listed as being there but they were included along with tea towels, oven gloves and wash up sponges. We had a great holiday food shopping was easy; a couple of minutes around the corner a coop, a sainsbury slightly further; with a Brookes near the railway station; bus station and Lakeland shop. We walked from the cottage to Bowness where the piers are for the lake. Got the bus to Ambleside from the station (open top so great views) and came back by boat (red cruise one way), we got the bus back up from Bowness to Windermere. It was all included in our Bus and Boat Central Lakes ticket (£12.50 for an adult). What a great day out! Wish I'd got up earlier so I could do the full open top bus ride!! If you like houses and gardens Levens Hall was great the topiary was amazing.”

    • “The property we staye in was excellent. It is in the centre of Windermere within walking distance of shops restaurants and pubs, and is only a 15 mins walk to the lakeside at Bowness. It was very well equipped with everything you would need for self catering. The back yard is a suntrap and as we were really lucky with the weather this was a bonus.”

Mrs Wilkinson, North Shields, June 2018
