“It is a delightful cottage, bigger inside than it appears on the outside.”

On entry it was very warm and we had to turn down the radiator thermostat as we like our house at around 18 to 19 celcius. I am disabled and cannot walk far, but I managed the stairs in the house without any problems. The shops (Co-op & Sainsbury's) are a minute walk for the rest of the family, it took me 3 minutes. The restaurants are the same distance. We had 3 meals out in Windermere. Cafe Italia , Tapas ( across the street from Cafe Italia) and Francine. All good but Francine was Spectacular and though a bit on the pricey side, the food is very good and would cost at least 15 percent more in the south. We would book again if we are back in the area.
