    • “Very nice house”
    • tripadvisor rating
    • “We stayed here for a week and could not have picked a better house to stay in. It is very well equipped with everything you could need and more. There is even food for the birds that visit he garden. The weather was very good and we even managed to have a barbecue. He house is located down a lane off the main road and you are about 15mins walk to the main road in Windermere. We would defiantly return to Moss Cottage.”

Johnclem55, Leeds, United Kingdom, March 2018

    • “Wonderful well equipped cottage in an ideal location. The conservatory is a lovely place to sit and watch the wildlife in the garden.”

    Mrs Hewson, Stafford, November 2018

    • “What a lovely cottage and in a great location, so peaceful but only a short walk from the town centre. It is tastefully decorated ,very comfortable and equipped with everything you need for your stay. I would have no hesitation in booking Moss Cottage again and would certainly recommend it to family and friends. We loved the whole weekend.”

    Mr Gibb, Motherwell, September 2018

    • “Moss Cottage was very well appointed and a good location to town. The sun room and garden was wonderful and having 4 toilets for a group of 6 was a bonus! The washer & dryer were very welcome as well. The nice TV and internet service was very good for the group. There was very good communication about the cottage, how to gain access and the facilities. The extreme stairs was not a real problem, but was not expecting that. Guests less capable may have a problem so a mention might be helpful. Typical that non-stick pans were in bad shape, but everything else in the kitchen was very nice. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality and high grade cottage!”

    Mr Holt, Richardson, August 2018

    • “Brilliant house. Lovely lounge with comfy seating, conservatory with dining table and chairs and woodburner, large well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms and bathrooms nicely appointed. Outdoor garden and parking for two cars. Quiet area but close to all amenities and quick access to main road for all major attractions. Would definitely recommend.”

    Mrs Johnson, Mansfield, July 2018

    • “The property is located at the end of a cul de sac in a quiet residential area. There is ample parking for two cars off road in front of the property. Yet is all within walking distance of Windermere. Two public footpaths are close by; one gives access to the lake and the other access to Windermere cutting out the need to walk up the hill only to come down again, a useful short cut. The facilities are as described and four of us were impressed with the dining area, sitting room and garden areas. If visiting this area again, we would all return and would recommend it to our friends. One improvement could be made, a power shower in the small shower room. The shower in the bathroom is fine.”

    Mr Walters, Brigg, June 2018

    • “We had the most wondeful break with three generations in this beautiful cottage. Everyone was suitably impressed with the beautiful position and proximity to the heart of Bowness. It was very tranquil yet near enough to enjoy a meal out with the heart of town 10 mins away at most on foot. Wonderful property would thoroughly recommend to anyone.”

    Mrs Lanham, Crawley, May 2018

    • “Would recommend this cottage to anyone. It is very comfortable, spacious and well equipped.”

    Mrs Smart, Bexhill-on-Sea, April 2018

    • “Fabulous cottage with very good facilities and comforts. The hosts have worked hard to provide for a great stay with all the bases covered for an easy and relaxing stay. Great location for convenient access to groceries and some restaurants in Windermere.”

    Mr Harbige, BRISTOL, March 2018

    • “Fabulous holiday home , 10 minute walk to shops and pubs. beautifully furnished and the woodburners so cosy to sit round in the evening, thank you for an excellent holiday in the Lakes.”

    Mrs Lane, Chorley, March 2018

    • “The cottage was very comfortable and warm which was particularly appreciated after spending a wet 'lakes' day, walking in the rain and cold. The kitchen was more than adequately equipped for the six of us. We had a very enjoyable break and would recommend the property.”

    Mrs Stothard, Sheffield, March 2018

    • “Lovely cottage, lovely break, also we spoke to the owners of the cottage who were brilliant and very helpful. Definitely went the extra mile. Thankyou”

    Mr Parsons, Huddersfield, February 2018

    • “An ideal property for a family booking, 3 couples enjoying a weekend celebration in the Lakes. Handy for station, buses and village centre amenities, walk up Orrest Head and base to go further afield. Lovely to dine and breakfast in the conservatory extension, and cosy up to the log burner in the lounge in the evening. Very smart but also comfortable.”

    Mrs Groom, Oldham, December 2017
