“Overall the property was great however the cleanliness left a lot to be desired, there was discarded food stuffed down the side of the settees and under them (it looked like no attempt had been made to clean under the furniture) there were items of dirty clothing discarded under a bed.”

Perhaps it would be nice to offer guests the opportunity to pre-book a welcome pack, milk etc. The supply of cleaning materials i.e. tea towels, washing up liquid, bin liners and spray cleaners etc was sadly lacking as was the amount of toilet paper which amounted to around 1 roll per person for a stay of almost 1 week. Should it not be noted in the description that these items might be required.
