“When we arrived the property was extremely cold which we put down to it not being let in the previous weeks.”

I mis-read the description & thought there was a bathroom on each floor of the bedrooms but as I was sleeping in the bedroom on the middle floor I either had to go up or downstairs to use the toilet in the night. The property is ideally situated a minutes walk from Windermere & with a frequent bus service other parts of the Lake District are easily accessible. The kitchen is very well equpped if you are planning on eating in. As others have said, an information folder would have been good ...

As others have said, an information folder would have been good. There are no toiletries (not even a bar of soap) so you need to take your own & the handles for both external doors are incredibly stiff to lock & unlock.

Thank you for this feedback. As this property is a self catering accommodation, toiletries and welcome packs are not provided. Thank you for alerting us to the external door issues, we will highlight this with our maintenance team. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and all the local area has to offer.
