Places to Visit in the Lake District
There are plenty of fantastic places to visit in the Lake District. In the South Lakes you will find the destination including Kendal, Windermere, Bowness and Ambleside, all of which offer a number of outdoor and indoor attractions. The North Lakes is home topopular destinations such as Keswick and Cockermouth, as well as quiter spots to visit including Bassenthwaite, Derwentwater and Buttermere. Head out towards the Cumbrian Coast to find Grange-over-Sands and Ravenglass.
