“Bridge house was in a lovely position and it was definitely a bonus having the spa/hotel very close to us with complimentary access.”

On the whole, the property was comfortable and well equipped but there are a few points I feel I should mention. We did have a problem with the Wi-Fi which was tricky as one of a party was working from home for a fair part of the week. The owner did his best to sort this and kept in touch with us regularly to let us know the situation. We eventually had Wi-Fi on the Wednesday. Another point was that the specifications said there was a washer dryer. Unfortunately there was only a washing machine ...

Unfortunately there was only a washing machine and with the inclement weather It would’ve been really useful to have had the dryer too. The last point, I thought I should mention is that although the Property came with a lovely secluded garden, including picnic bench, we were unable to use it due to it being tick season. Our dog received a few unwelcome visitors when we sat out the first evening. This obviously was not the fault of the owner, but it may be useful for anybody visiting to know this, and maybe come prepared with a tick remover! We had a lovely week and the property is well placed to visit all of the beautiful areas in the Lake District.
