The property

Ascension Island is a beautiful third-floor apartment nestled in the bustling town centre of Bowness-On-Windermere, a fantastic Lake District hot spot for a group of friends or large family to enjoy.

Traveling up several stairs to the third floor is the entrance to this thoughtfully laid out accommodation, presenting you with a homely living/dining room fitted with everything you'll need for an evening of entertainment, snuggle on the plush corner sofa for a film night in front of the Smart TV, set out the dining table with drinks and board games for a competitive evening, or curl up with a good book on the balcony as you admire views of nature.

Throw together a tasty meal in the kitchen, equipped with all the amenities for your self-catering needs, including a handy washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher!

Three lovely bedrooms await for a restful night's sleep, made up of three sumptuous king-size beds all with ample storage and one boasting a luxury en-suite bathroom, featuring a soothing corner bath.

The rest of the group can prepare for the day ahead in the family bathroom, choosing between a calming soak in a bubble bath, or a refreshing rinse in the overhead shower to wake up.

Bowness-on-Windermere town centre is right on the property's doorstep, where a stroll takes you straight to bustling amenities such as shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés for you to pick up essentials or dine out for the night.

The town offers an exciting range of attractions, such as World of Beatrix Potter Attraction, the 1920’s Royalty Cinema and The Old Laundry Theatre, and of course the sensational waters of Lake Windermere, boasting a thrilling selection of watersports and boat trips alongside breath-taking views.

Hope on a boat over to the charming towns of Lakeside or Ambleside, home to the Lakes Aquarium, the Haverthwaite steam railway, and the Lakeland Motor Museum, as well as even more amenities and access to rugged walking and cycling trails along the fells.

Other must-see destinations include Grasmere, Ambleside, Troutbeck and the market town of Kendal with its dramatic castle, Abbot Hall, the Lakeland Museum, and the Brewery Arts centre.

Make memories that last a lifetime at Ascension Island.
