    “We loved Lonsdale House.”

It was clean, well maintained, tastefully decorated and in a really convenient position in Bowness, close to bars, cafes, restaurants and the ferries on Windermere. We parked at the house and didn’t use the car until our return home. The beds were comfortable and everything you could have possibly needed is provided along with a lovely complimentary hamper on arrival. It was warm weather when we stayed and we have two small dogs that loved the house as it was so cool and comfortable to sleep ...

It was warm weather when we stayed and we have two small dogs that loved the house as it was so cool and comfortable to sleep. There is a lovely walk just behind the house near the rugby club. I would say the only slight negative would be there is no outside space (apart from car park) which wasn’t an issue as we were out and about most of the days. I would recommend and I would definitely return.
