Windermere 2 miles. Cedar Wood Lodge is located in a quiet corner of the White Cross Bay holiday park in Cumbria. This single-story lodge is an ideal getaway for a family or group of friends to explore the breath-taking Lake District National Park, with on-site amenities and fully-equipped with plenty of home comforts. Arriving, guests are greeted by off-road parking before ascending to the wrap-around decking, which features a picnic bench and barbecue stand, ideal for outdoor dining. The open-plan living area is the social hub of your holiday, with seating for four at the dining table, ample seating in front of a Smart TV and electric fireplace, and a fully-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher to help with cleaning up. After a long day of hiking, the lodge's shower room provides a place to freshen up before a dinner out. The king-size bedroom features a convenient en-suite cloakroom, whereas the twins are designed for children or friends to share. Access to additional facilities such as the pool are for guests to use for an additional fee, while entertainment, a bar, and a restaurant will keep you occupied during your stay. Visit the nearby Brockhole Lake District Visitor Centre, which offers a variety of activities for people of all ages, including strolling through the beautiful gardens, enjoying a sweet treat in the café, hiking one of the trails, and attempting the Tree Top Trek. You're also only a short distance from Windermere, which features quaint and unique local shops, traditional pubs and restaurants, and the stunning Lake Windermere for watersports.
