The property

The Badger's Shack is a marvellous, detached lodge near Garnett Bridge, on the outskirts of the historic market town of Kendal. It enjoys spectacular scenery as it's surrounded by the Cumbrian fells. This fantastic property is ideal for two couples or a family of four, with ground-floor accommodation and open-plan living and is only a short distance from the Lake District's best attractions. After parking in one of the two convenient off-road spots, head inside to find a stylishly decorated open-plan living room, where you can snuggle up in front of the Smart TV and warming woodburning stove. When you're hungry, proceed to the kitchen, a well-equipped place with everything you need to prepare excellent, homecooked meals. These meals can be served at the adjacent dining table as you catch up on the day's events. When the sun goes down, make your way to one of the two magnificent king-size bedrooms, the first of which is accompanied by an en-suite shower room and the other enjoying an en-suite bathroom with a luxurious roll-top bath and exposed stonework. Wander out to the beautiful garden, where a barbecue awaits, to take in the breath-taking views first-hand of eastern Kentmere fells and Ulgraves. Cocks Close Estate

Cocks Close Estate is a 24 acre exclusive estate with half a mile of the River Sprint on one side and views up to the Fells and Mountains of the eastern Kentmere range on the other. The estate includes, ancient woodlands, pastureland and a 1 acre tarn. Outdoor enthusiasts will be delighted by the close proximity to the National Park, an area renowned for its outdoor adventures, including walks and cycling upon Cunswick Scar, Potter Fell, Whitbarrow - Lord's Seat, Kentmere and Sallows. The Garnett Bridge is located 4 miles north of the nearby market town of Kendal, 2 miles from Burneside and at the foot of Longsleddale Valley. The hamlet is situated at the edge of the National Park with walkiung from the door onto the fells such as Potter Fell and Kentmere Pike. The area is also excellent for cycling being located on several popular roads and mountian biking routes.
