“Incorrectly advertised, claimed has parking however it didn’t.”

Which resulted in a big cost to myself. Tv remove didn’t work, as no batteries so had to replace. Also thermostat didn’t work for the heating.

The property

Resting centrally within Kendal, a market town and bustling area within Cumbria is Kendal Cottage, a characterful three-storey dwelling. Situated upon the cusp of the Lake District National Park and a short journey away from a host of attractions enveloping the breath-taking Lake Windermere, the cottage offers an ideal base for a self-catered break, welcoming a family of four and their furry companion. Upon stepping into Kendal Cottage, you will notice it's charming exterior; stepping indoors, be welcomed by the country-style kitchen/diner, housing a woodburning stove, dining table, exposed stone walls, and a whole host of state-of-the-art appliances. Head outdoors to the rear of the cottage for some fresh air upon the shared lawn, before venturing upstairs to locate the light-flooded first-floor sitting room, where you can unwind in front of the Smart TV. As sleep calls, rest your head in one of two well-presented bedrooms found on the second floor, including a double and a twin, before awakening to either a bath or a shower in the bathroom. Once you're ready to explore, head into Kendal for a delightful stroll alongside River Kent, enjoy a competitive afternoon at Kendal Golf Club or brush up on your local knowledge at the nearby museum. Reaching Windermere, be at one with nature whilst hiking up Fell Foot, tour the Lakes Aquarium, a firm family favourite, take up the opportunity to explore the lake through kayaking or sailing, or expand your artistic interest at Blackwell gallery. Travelling north towards Ambleside, head to the Lake District Ski Club for a thrill-seeking activity, climb the summit of Fairfield Peak, explore Rydal Cave and its underground routes, or enjoy the stunning surroundings of Stock Ghyll Force. Plan your next break with Kendal Cottage as your abode.

KENDAL

Windermere 8 miles.

A historic market town with a fine reputation for shopping, Kendal nestles on the banks of the River Kent and is known as the Southern Gateway to the Lakes. Its old cobbled lanes and byways branch off the attractive main street, and the stone ruins of 12th century Kendal Castle sit perched on a hill with views over the town.
