We loved that we could walk straight out the door onto a lovely quiet walking route. Perfect when you have a dog and toddler. We also walked to Grange over Sands, along the prom and back one day, a route accessible to pushchairs and wheelchairs.
The cottage its self is lovely, plenty big enough for our little boy to spread out with toys, our dog and three adults and not feel cluttered or confined. The kitchen dining room was great, nice and spacious, heating that is efficient, so no worry when needing to dry out wet clothes.
The owners provide dog bowls and a large dog bed, our pooch preferred this to his own. So if your dog isn’t fussy save car space.
A very enjoyable week, my little boy loved the tractors going passed the window and we loved the quiet of the countryside, will consider booking again if we choose this area of the lakes next year.
