“We had a really nice stay for a few nights in February half term.”
The cottage itself was homely and cosy. Lovely views of the beck from the windows at the rear. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well kitted out.
The cottage is dog friendly, downstairs. There were no signs of this however. Our own springer-poo enjoyed his stay too.

Some minor things to be aware of, to help your stay go smoothly: 1. Whilst you can park a car out front, whilst just unloading (and leaving space for passing traffic) due to the lane coming to a very acute angle with the main (but very quiet) road going through the village, I got an earful from a local mature lady, telling me I was causing an obstruction. It did spoil my day a little as I’d made every effort not to. I would therefore recommend you try to park further down the lane, where there are 2 spaces at the side of the road next to the bins. 2. The 2 local pubs look nice, however, one had just re-opened under new management and not yet serving food; the other was not open at all in the 3 days we were there. These are not things that the owner could do anything about, but just to be aware of - pubs probably more functional come the summer!
