The property

This lovely residence, Fellside View, is located in Chapel Site in the heart of the Lake District National Park, nestled in the stunning Langdale Valley. 11 Thrang Brow, which sleeps up to six people and two well-behaved pets, offers off-road parking, open-plan living, and near proximity to utilities and attractions. It's the perfect place to unwind amidst some of the area's most beautiful countryside. The first-floor entrance leads to an open-plan kitchen, dining, and sitting room. Take off your shoes and relax while taking in the far-off views of the Brathay River as you await your delicious meals prepared using a magnificent assortment of appliances. Before enjoying some light entertainment on the Smart TV, settle in at the dining table to have a feast and plan your holiday ahead. As the evening comes to a close, retreat to a double room to watch the sheep graze on Lingmoor Fell, a twin room, or a bunk room to get some rest. All of these rooms are well decorated and offer plenty of storage space for your personal items. After finishing your day’s excursions, treat yourself to a long soak or energising shower in a roomy bathroom before dozing off to prepare for another day of adventures. If you can drag yourself away, you can take advantage of the Langdale Valley throughout the year on a variety of wonderful hikes that pass by several pubs where you can stop for a well-earned drink or a hearty lunch. Take a morning hike to Rydal Cave, stopping along the route to take in the natural beauty of gushing waterfalls and stunning vistas at Loughrigg Fell and Skelwith Force.Wordsworth’s Dove Cottage in Grasmere, the old residence of the well-known poet, is a must-see nearby, as is The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction in Windermere. Literature aficionados would also enjoy a trip to Hill Top, the former residence of the adored author. Try your hand at a number of water sports, such as paddleboarding, kayaking, and canoeing on Windermere Lake, or take part in a more tranquil excursion at Holehird Gardens or Orrest Head Viewpoint, where you can enjoy a picnic with stunning views as your backdrop. Travel further afield for a dizzying array of activities and sights in Keswick, Kendal, and at Ullswater. Your next home away from home in Cumbria should be Fellside View.

A delightful, rural village nestled right in the heart of the beautiful Lake District National Park. Chapel Stile is an excellent hidden gem, set at the bottom of a stunning valley, flanked on one side by the River Brathay, surrounded by incredible scenery and filled with wonderful slate and stone buildings. The village offers a traditional church from the mid 1800's as well as a café, a pub and a village shop that has stood for well over 100 years. Chapel Stile is a great base for exploring this National Park, with easy access to a number of sights and fells worth visiting. You must go to the lovely neighbouring village of Elterwater and stand on the Skelwith Bridge and simply take in the views. Nearby are the fantastic Lake District towns of Ambleside and Kendal are withing a short driving distance, offering excellent views, buildings and so much to do. For you outdoors people, make sure you visit Bowness-on-Windermere, with its incredible lake activities and so much to do; it's perfect for families.
